Stacy was born in Palmerston North,  she spent her schooling years in Warkworth, and moved to Whangarei in 1999.

It was while in her second at Northland Polytechnic she found her love of clay and new instinctively this is what she wanted to do. She gained her Arts degree in 2005 after majoring in pottery.

Stacy is currently juggling her life between her partner and two children, working as a tutor teaching clay related disciplines to a group of clients suffering from mental illnesses, and satisfying her love of clay making art objects of various sizes, shapes and forms. These she sells in stores in Whangarei, Russell, Auckland and will also sell directly from her home.

As a lover of outdoor spaces Stacy is able to glean ideas from various natural sources, and believes that her garden pieces can change the mood of, or bring a different element or dimension into a garden.

Stacy’s philosophy is based on the ‘feels good technique’….. if it feels good it is good.
